IA worked with American Express to relocate their facility into a luxurious new 600sqm lounge, 3 times the size of their original space providing a vast array of amenities & dining options.
Airport lounges have become much more than just a place to relax & have a break before a flight. With airports ever more crowded, providers to the travel industry are realising the importance of improving the whole flying experience. This starts with the traveller’s experience on the ground in airports. The lounge provides a sophisticated & relaxed environment with an emphasis on wellness for the seasoned traveller. The space offers private resting and relaxation areas in contrast with a ‘social’ zone with centralised seating, self-serve counter and an LCD display wall, keeping travellers up to date. An activation space inclusive of commercial kitchen ‘live cooking station’ & bar has been incorporated into the space to offer various pop-up promotions to surprise & delight members during their visit.
The new American Express Lounge joins other world class lounges that enhance comfortable travel at Sydney International Airport.
