The IA Design team were appointed by the Department of Education (DoE) to consolidate and redesign their existing Brisbane space into a contemporary workplace that reinforced their organisational goals and objectives.
Following the relocation of the Department of the Attorney General (DotAG) into the new Old Treasury Building, IA Design were engaged as the Lead Consultant to design a sophisticated and welcoming environment for the new Perth office.
The IA Design team were engaged by the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) to design a contemporary, open plan work environment for their existing Melbourne office.
WESTERN AUSTRALIAN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COMMISSION
The Western Australia Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC) in Perth undertook a complete refurbishment in 2016 in an effort to upgrade the Court Rooms and Hearing Rooms, and provide employees and public visitors with a welcoming space to work and communicate.
In collaboration with Built., the IA Design team designed and constructed the Administrative Appeals Tribunals (AAT) in Sydney. A brand new 9,000m2 space across 9 floors, that houses four tribunals, and consists of both public spaces and working environments.
IA Design worked with the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) to design the new state office in Tasmania, featuring a showpiece breakout area for staff to enjoy.
With increasing competition between airline carriers, the experience provided at airport lounges has become a new battleground for attracting & retaining customer loyalty.
The IA Design team created an intimate and collaborative research suite for the now retired Chief Justice of Australia, The Hon RS French AC. The new space was designed to accommodate the ongoing duties of the retired Chief Justice, housing collaborative breakout areas, research headquarters and an impressive library of historical books and documents.
The new Sydney workplace for Sims Metal Management (Sims) in Goodman’s Connect Corporate Centre in Mascot was designed to foster an innovative culture and community, through encouraging departmental interaction. The brief was to create an environment that reinforced their credo of sustainability and corporate responsibility and that these activities are not pursued separately from core businesses. These concepts are fully integrated and deeply ingrained in their culture and IA have delivered an environment reflecting these values.
The IA Design team were commissioned by Micro Focus + Suse to transform their Melbourne headquarters into a multi-functional space – operating as a showroom, workplace and social environment.
The brief for Taylor Olivier, Perth, was for a workspace that reflected the practice’s values and culture, while speaking to its newly established place in the legal market as both progressive and approachable.
The IA Design team were appointed by Network Ten to design their new office fit-out, servicing all studio departments from back-of-house journalism through to on-air production.
IA Design were engaged by CBRE PjM for building owners Credit Suisse to create an end-of-trip facility in the renowned Perth building, 190 St Georges Terrace. The new addition has given the building a new edge, with a lively colour palette to engage commuters.
The IA Design team collaborated with FDC and Brisbane Marketing to design an innovative co-working environment across three levels in the Brisbane CBD. This incredible space spans 2,400m2 and features a stunning rooftop breakout and event area in an ISPT building.
Donald Cant Watts Corke (DCWC) engaged IA Design to re-establish their presence in the Perth market following a relocation to Perth’s CBD. The scope was to create a bold, contemporary and tasteful office environment that would impress clients and visitors.
Bis Industries’ decision to open their new Corporate Office in Perth presented IA Design with an opportunity to create an environment that reflected this company’s position in the Australian resource industry. Bis Industries’ brief was to “create a corporate office reflecting the Bis executive team” – a workplace that staff and clients would be proud of.
