DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT

The IA Design team were appointed by the Department of Education (DoE) to consolidate and redesign their existing Brisbane space into a contemporary workplace that reinforced their organisational goals and objectives.

THE DEPARTMENT OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL

Following the relocation of the Department of the Attorney General (DotAG) into the new Old Treasury Building, IA Design were engaged as the Lead Consultant to design a sophisticated and welcoming environment for the new Perth office.

AUSTRALIAN TRADE COMMISSION

The IA Design team were engaged by the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) to design a contemporary, open plan work environment for their existing Melbourne office.

WESTERN AUSTRALIAN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COMMISSION

The Western Australia Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC) in Perth undertook a complete refurbishment in 2016 in an effort to upgrade the Court Rooms and Hearing Rooms, and provide employees and public visitors with a welcoming space to work and communicate.

AAT SYDNEY

In collaboration with Built., the IA Design team designed and constructed the Administrative Appeals Tribunals (AAT) in Sydney. A brand new 9,000m2 space across 9 floors, that houses four tribunals, and consists of both public spaces and working environments.

AUSTRALIAN ELECTORAL COMMISSION (AEC)

IA Design worked with the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) to design the new state office in Tasmania, featuring a showpiece breakout area for staff to enjoy.

American Express Lounge – Sydney

With increasing competition between airline carriers, the experience provided at airport lounges has become a new battleground for attracting & retaining customer loyalty.

THE CHIEF JUSTICE OF AUSTRALIA

The IA Design team created an intimate and collaborative research suite for the now retired Chief Justice of Australia, The Hon RS French AC. The new space was designed to accommodate the ongoing duties of the retired Chief Justice, housing collaborative breakout areas, research headquarters and an impressive library of historical books and documents.

Sims Metal Group – Sydney

The new Sydney workplace for Sims Metal Management (Sims) in Goodman’s Connect Corporate Centre in Mascot was designed to foster an innovative culture and community, through encouraging departmental interaction. The brief was to create an environment that reinforced their credo of sustainability and corporate responsibility and that these activities are not pursued separately from core businesses. These concepts are fully integrated and deeply ingrained in their culture and IA have delivered an environment reflecting these values.

5 MILL STREET SHOW SUITES

IA Design was engaged by GDI Property Group to complete a show suite within Level 10, 5 Mill Street. The key driver for this show suite was to market the small space and ‘stair access only’ in a flexible, sophisticated and welcoming environment.

KNIGHT FRANK

IA Design were engaged by Knight Frank to transform their traditional office layout into an open plan environment.

Flux 2.0

After the success of the first Flux built within the Parmelia House, spanning three floors in total, IA Design were re-engaged to deliver another two floors of Flux’s co-working environment on Levels 6 & 7. The new floors were designed to the same parameters as the previous fit out, retaining the contemporary and welcoming environment that proved a winning direction from the beginning.

Level 1 & 3, 2 Mill Street Show Suites

Knight Frank engaged IA Design to deliver two contemporary show suites within 2 Mill street to assist in the leasing of these spaces. IA Design has delivered numerous projects within this building and were able to provide their previous knowledge to streamline delivery and ensure that the best possible solution was achieved.

267 St Georges Terrace Show Suite

IA Design was engaged to deliver a show suite within the 2nd level of the 267 St Georges Terrace building. The Brief was to design a contemporary industrial style show suite boasting exposed ceilings, polished concrete flooring and modern styles of working. The final design is a welcoming space that makes good use of the natural light filtering in from a view of the swan river.

Alinta Energy

IA Design was engaged by Acorpp on behalf of Alinta Energy to deliver Alinta Energy’s new workplace over two floors within Raine Square in Perth. Alinta’s previous fitout was fragmented, with staff over three different floor areas. This had resulted in cultural disconnection and siloed working groups. IA Design worked alongside Acorpp to define a workplace strategy which resulted in the alignment of the organisation’s vision and values with the drivers for the new work environment.

Exchange Tower Show Suite

IA Design was engaged by Knight Frank to deliver a show suite to Level 23 Exchange Tower. The brief was to design a show suite in the north west side of the building facing the afternoon sun. The budget was limited to $1,000 per sqm and would need to include a 10-person meeting room, reception, office, breakout, utilities, collaboration zones as well as open plan workstations to achieve an overall density of 1:11sqm. IA Design is well acquainted with Exchange tower after completing numerous projects within this building. The purpose of this show suite is to provide the leasing agent with a space that showcases the potential of this building and its floor plate. This will help the leasing agent lease this space faster and more effectively.

Level 6 | Westralia Square

IA Design was engaged by GDI to deliver a show suite within level 6, Westralia Square. The show suite Brief was to showcase modern and contemporary ways of working for potential tenants looking at the building.

190 St Georges Terrace

IA Design was engaged by Credit Suisse to deliver 2 show suites within level 6, 190 St Georges Terrace. The final design is two contemporary show suites showcasing the benefits of modern workplace design.
